Valdecuevas Cuvée

A unique Verdejo

Description

A very singular Verdejo. Fermented in micro tanks and large French oak barrels, looking for the perfect combination of own varietal aromas of the Verdejo grape with those released from the ageing in oak.

Tasting notes

APPEARANCE:
Straw yellow color with green rim, bright.

NOSE:
Intense, elegant and complex aroma; ripe white fruit with elegant mineral, smoky and spicy notes.

PALATE:
It comes mouthfeel, very smooth and silky, well balanced and persistent. Mineral and smoked notes that reappear in the retronasal.

VALDECUEVAS FERMENTED IN BARRELS

Optimal point of ripeness

Description

100% Verdejo, fermented in French oak barrels. Processed from selected grapes at optimum ripeness and seeking their highest aromatic expression. Fermentation in French oak barrels, with fine toasting and grain. It is nurtured on lees for seven months, over which there has been a daily batonnage.

Tasting notes

APPEARANCE:
Brilliant and clear straw yellow color with golden highlights.

NOSE:
Spicy tones, vanilla, lightly toasted, conjoined with fruity tones and anissed characteristic of Verdejo.

PALATE:
It has a great mouthfeel coupled with a touch of acidity that adds freshness to the whole.

Valdecuevas Verdejo

Classic Verdejo

Description

Verdejo white wine in the classic style. Made entirely of Verdejo grapes from our older and less productive vineyards. These vineyards are located on more stony soil, which promotes the proper maturation and balance of our harvest.

Tasting notes

APPEARANCE:
Yellow green, vivid tones.

NOSE:
The notes of stone fruit (peach and apricot) and a fennel depth dominate. High, cool, nice aromatic intensity.

PALATE:
Mouthfeel, very smooth, balanced, persistent and long acidity.

Valdecuevas Rosé

Singular Rose

Description

Elaborated with Tempranillo and Verdejo. The cold maceration takes place for 8 hours, and only free-run must is used. Fermentation at 15ºC. Finally, ageing on lees for 3 months in stainless Steel micro tanks and wooden tanks.

Tasting notes

APPEARANCE:
Pale pink color, clean and bright.

NOSE:
Red fruits with hints of undergrowth and a mint-eucalyptus background.

PALATE:
On the palate it is fresh, intense and full-bodied, showing a slightly bitter finish.

Flor Innata

Balance

Description

A wine made from the coupages of grapes from different plots, all situated in an environment no more than 4 kilometers from the cellar. We seek a balance between classic and modern Verdejo, with a depth of tropical fruit and high aromatic intensity.

APPEARANCE:
Greenish yellow color.

NOSE:
Olfactory intensity, with fresh notes of white flowers, orange blossom, along with memories of green fruits and some depth of tropical notes.

PALATE:
To the palate it is fresh, smooth and round, due to its natural sugar, balanced with acidity.

Flor itura

a rosé with the soul of a red wine

Description

Tempranillo (100%). We were looking for a very fruity nose and a robust palate. A rosé with the soul of a red wine.

Tasting notes

APPEARANCE
Raspberry pink.

NOSE
High aromatic intensity, red berries with fresh herbs and floral hints.

PALATE
TOn the palate it has a good structure, voluptuous, and round. Refreshing and with a good length.

Diwine

Partially fermented

Description

Must of partially fermented grape. Fermentation is stopped early on with cold. The result is a pleasant and refreshing drink with fine bubbles.

Diwine Rosé

partially fermented

Description

Must of partially fermented grape. Fermentation is stopped early on with cold. The result is a pleasant and refreshing drink with fine bubbles.

APPEARANCE
Pale rosewood pink color

NOSE
Olorfactory intense notes of red berries (cherries and blueberries) and sweet jelly.

PALATE
To the palate it is smooth with a sweet note and very good acidity that adds freshness and with a surprising bubbling spark.
Ideal as an aperitif to accompany cheeses, pastas and desserts.
